1. We promote work-life balance

Our staff are entitled to a good number of Paid-Time Offs (PTOs) and they are encouraged to use them.

 

Almost all our clients close their operations during the Christmas break so the staff can spend time with their loved ones. Staff are encouraged to perform their work within their scheduled hours and some have flexible start and finish times. Australian working hours mean you have more time to spend with your family in the afternoon. And, when you travel into the office, the traffic is not as bad as you are not travelling during rush hours. We observe Philippine public holidays but from time to time staff may be asked to work on a holiday.


2. We keep an open door policy

For us, feedback is a gift! Our staff are encouraged to provide suggestions and share concerns at any time with their line manager or skip line manager, and staff can also reach senior management directly. We conduct quarterly engagement surveys with our staff to gauge their level of satisfaction and solicit their ideas. We take action on feedback that is reasonable, necessary, and applicable. We hold a quarterly townhall session wherein our staff receive the latest business communications.

 

Intogreat believes in proactive communication! We have FOREFRONT, our very own monthly newsletter to update all staff on business news and events. We have recently commenced quarterly focus group discussions to present updates to our staff and provide a venue for open dialogue with management.

3. We help our staff reach their best potential

For new starters, we have detailed training plans and learning curve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to support staff onboarding and their journey to proficiency. We also have leaders who are subject matter experts to guide them and help with both technical and soft skills training. Some line managers are also certified in conducting certain types of training e.g., Xero certified trainer. We keep a Performance Management System to ensure our staff are being properly supported on their performance delivery. We also have an internal hiring policy that gives equal opportunity to our talented staff to apply for other positions (whether it be promotion or lateral moves).

 

All leaders are trained in coaching and hold 30-minute one-on-one sessions with every staff member each month to coach, upskill and support them on their goals. For many staff members, we have a knowledge management system and we are currently designing a training solution and career planning tool for our staff to help them advance their careers. We are delivering leadership development programs to our future leaders so they are equipped with the right skills once they assume a higher role.

 

Some of our staff are being given the opportunity to travel to Australia so our clients can support them through more specific and targeted training that will help them succeed in their roles.

We do annual salary appraisals, and we make sure we provide robust recommendations based on the market rate, internal equity, labour and inflation rate, tenure, and the staff’s overall performance and behaviour. On top of this, we, or the client, may provide discretionary bonuses to specific roles based on their Key Performance and Behavioral Indicator scores.

 

Intogreat recognises top performers and rookies at our quarterly townhall sessions and rewards those who go the “extra mile” for their clients or colleagues. These awardees now qualify for the GREAT AWARDS - our annual prizegiving ceremony.
